DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to produce scalable software solutions. You will be part of a cross-functional team responsible for the complete software development lifecycle, from design to deployment. As a Full Stack Developer, you should be comfortable with front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks, and third-party libraries. You also need to be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility. You should also be experienced with Agile methodologies. Generally, you will have to:
- Participate in the adoption and improvement of development practices by teams and adapt the practice to our business reality;
- Report progress to the various stakeholders and ensure alignment with the major milestones of the various projects;
- Collaborate with Product Owners, analysts, project managers and developers to define sprint priorities and the various deliveries;
- Ensure that user stories are well documented to facilitate the team’s work;
- Participate in the development, integration and evolution of our products (Front-End, Back-End);
- Research solutions, create proofs of concept and develop applications for production;
- Work with the quality assurance team to meet our quality and safety requirements;
- Travel to our customers during deployments when necessary;
- All other tasks related or relevant to the activities of this sector, according to the evolution of business and/or the emergence of new opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- You hold a bachelor’s degree in software engineering or equivalent: You are considered by your peers to be a senior developer;
- You have a good understanding of software development processes, as well as the project life cycle;
- Your last years in development were made with Angular (version 2 and more), Java, NodeJS, Javascript, Jquery, Jasper, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB;
- You know container technologies (Docker, Docker Compose), ElasticSearch as well as Camunda Enterprise;
- You have done API development;
- You like your code to be of high quality and well documented;
- You use Jira, Confluence or other technological tools to manage user stories and the backlog;
- You are comfortable working in a multi-project context on the same product;
- You have excellent communication skills and direct teams towards success;
- You are a recognized influencer on the lookout for new trends;
- You enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-growing environment where gray areas lead you to find innovative solutions;
- Your peers recognize you as a source of reference and improvement;
- You are open to new ideas and take the time to listen to your partners;
- You have a perfect command of French and English, both orally and in writing.
- Experience in land administration software development and support.
- Experience integrating with GIS solutions such as ESRI’s ARC GIS plus ParcelFabri.
