We are looking for a software developer, for a fixed-term contract, with a very good knowledge of classic programming languages (java, C #, …) and web technologies. The start date of employment is July 2017 at the company’s head office
The role requires integrating and applying Agile Scrum development methodologies in all research, analysis, design and implementation of platforms (web, applications, mobiles, software, etc.).
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Participate in the analysis and design of new web and application services.
Participate in the maintenance of already existing web services.
Provide adequate work estimates based on business requirements and functional specifications.
Understand and apply the Scrum principles in all of its tasks.
Work closely with the infra team to ensure the delivery of new solutions.
Ensure the control of established processes and their improvement.
Required skills / Essential skills:
University degree in computer science or equivalent;
2 years of experience in java development and Web languages, …
2 years of experience in relational database (MySQL, Postgres, MariaDB or other);
2 years of experience in writing unit tests and integrations;
Knowledge of JavaScript
Methodology, Agile / Scrum;
Autonomy and ability to learn new technologies;
Gifted, proactive, extremely resourceful thinker who pays attention to detail.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with a team spirit.
Time and priority management among multiple projects and responsibilities.
Profile
Engineering school profile 2 years of experience in software development and web applications.
Position to be filled as soon as possible in Montreal.
