Economist and entrepreneur, Youmani J\u00e9r\u00f4me Lankoand\u00e9 is CEO of YULCOM Technologies Inc., an IT engineering and development company based in Montreal. Mr. Lankoand\u00e9 is an administrator at the Office Qu\u00e9bec Monde pour la Jeunesse. He acted as vice-president of the board of Caisse Desjardins de Saint-Laurent (2017-2018). In 2015 he was selected among the top 20 young leaders in Canada by Action Canada.<\/p>\n

He has more than ten years of interdisciplinary research experience on technological innovation in Canada and the United States. He is a visiting scholar at ATHGO International (Los Angeles).<\/p>\n

Before going into business, Mr. Lankoand\u00e9 was an economic analyst at Partenariat International. Holder of a master’s degree in political economy from Laval University, he has participated in numerous publications and given conferences on technological innovation. He is author of the work \u201cPolitical economy of direct investments from China in Africa\u201d published in 2011 by European University Editions.<\/p>\n

As part of his business activities, he was interviewed by several national and international media including Radio-Canada, TVA, China Daily USA, Arirang TV – South Korea, Radio France Internationale, Africa 24 Magazine, L’Economist , and the Journal de Montr\u00e9al.<\/p>\n

Mr. Lankoand\u00e9 was president of the Young Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Saint-Laurent (2012-2014) and sat on the board of directors of several organizations including Laval University (2007-2009), Force Jeunesse ( 2009-2010), the Caisse Desjardins de Saint-Laurent (2015-2018) and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Saint-Laurent \u2013 \u200b\u200bMont-Royal (2017-2018).<\/p>\n

As part of his business trips he visited the United States, Brazil, Colombia, China, Japan, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Switzerland, Belgium, Italy, the -Bas, Austria, Slovakia, Spain, Luxembourg, South Korea, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, Morocco, Tunisia, Gabon, Cameroon, Senegal, Guinea, Mali, Burkina Faso, Togo, Niger, Nigeria, Benin, Ivory Coast and Ghana.<\/p>\n<\/div>
