About the OQMJ
The mission of the Office Québec-Monde pour la jeunesse (OQMJ) is to develop relations between young people in Quebec and those in territories or countries not covered by the Office franco-québécois pour la jeunesse, the Office Québec-Amériques pour la jeunesse or the Office Québec Wallonie Bruxelles pour la jeunesse. Through the support it offers to young adults in Quebec, it opens the doors to Europe and the Francophonie, among other things.
By participating in international forums and integrating international institutional networks, the OQMJ is forging links with UNESCO, the African Union, the Assembly of European Regions, the Commonwealth Secretariat, the Organization of American States and the Ibero-American Youth Organization. By developing partnerships with these organizations, young adults in Quebec and around the world will benefit from international youth mobility experiences.
In keeping with the Government of Québec’s International Policy, the OQMJ also wishes to expand its activities in the territories served by the network of Quebec delegations and offices abroad.
