The Gala of the 42nd edition of the prestigious ARISTA Provincial Competition, presented by the Bank of Montreal – BMO Financial Group, will take place on May 28, 2019. YULCOM Technologies CEO Youmani Jérôme LANKOANDÉ is nominated in the Young International Youth Leader category Montreal Chamber of Commerce. CGI, the Young International Leader of Quebec Award rewards the candidate according to the following criteria:
The candidate must (i) be primarily and directly responsible for initiatives beyond the borders of the province of Quebec (Canada and / or international) and these must be active (ii) for at least six (6) months on the Date reference. The initiatives are, for example: the export of products and services, the acquisition of companies, the establishment of a new division, the exercise of one’s profession. The initiative must have positive spinoffs for Quebec’s economic development and for its influence in Canada or internationally. The candidate must work for a Company or an Organization with a business address located in Quebec.
About the ARISTA competition
ARISTA is positioned as one of the great major competitions in Quebec to propel the next generation in the spotlight. A true revealer of talent, the ARISTA Provincial Competition is the most prestigious event organized by the JCCM each year. It is aimed at young business people from across Quebec, between the ages of 18 and 40. More than 500 applications are received across Quebec for each edition.
The objective of the competition is to reward and highlight the promising figures of the next generation of Quebec businesses, who stand out for their leadership and their sense of innovation, whether through their remarkable professional success or their strong involvement in their community.
Biography of Youmani Jérôme LANKOANDÉ
Youmani Jérôme Lankoandé is the CEO of YULCOM Technologies Inc., a computer engineering company with clients across America, Europe, Asia and Africa. He was Vice-President of the “Caisse Desjardins de Saint-Laurent” from 2017 to 2018 and President of the Junior Chamber of Commerce of Saint-Laurent-Mont-Royal in 2012. Finally, Youmani Jérôme Lankoandé sat on several boards of directors, including that of Laval University. In 2015, he was selected among the top 20 young leaders in Canada by Action Canada.
Holder of a master’s degree in political economy from Université Laval, he has participated in numerous publications and lectured on technological innovation in North America. He has conducted numerous interviews, notably with Radio-Canada, Le Journal de Montréal, Les Affaires, China Daily USA, and Radio France Internationale. In order to develop his business, he has visited more than a dozen countries around the world.
